Using the process function method to assess the organizational level in dangerous goods transportation

Abstract

As one of the most well-known methods for assessing the organizational level, the process function method represents a very effective tool for diagnosing the existing conditions and identifying what needs to be improved. The process function method can be used to evaluate the organization of business functions, organizational units, work areas work, business elements, workplaces, etc. In this paper, the process function method is applied in order to evaluate the organizational level in the dangerous goods transportation process in one of the units of the Serbian Armed Forces. Following the implementation of the methodology, the elements which should be improved to increase the existing level of the organization of dangerous goods transportation in the unit that was the subject matter of analysis were identified.
